Reece's Thoughts on Eyewitness Juniors: Amazing Cars

This was about different types of cars.  My favorite car was the Porsche 911 and the Jaguar E-type.  I liked how it told about the invention of the car.  One of the first cars had a tiller for steering, just like a boat.  This book is great for learning all about cars.

Full-color photographs and a simple text trace the development of the automobile from its origins to the present day, explains how automobiles work, and documents different types--from ambulances to sports cars.

Gabe's Thoughts on Eyewitness Juniors: Amazing Bikes by Trevor Lord

This book is about bikes.  I thought it was cool because it shows you about when the first bikes were made.  I thought the most interesting old bike was the High Wheeler.  This bike had a very large wheel in front and a smaller wheel in back.  It was very hard to get on the High Wheeler.  The motorbike part was interesting too.  They talked about motor bike sports and the different types of motorbikes.  This was a really good book to learn all about bikes.

Full-color photos. Learn about the history of bicycles and motorcycles, and examine fabulous photos of human- and solar-powered bikes, rickshaws, and the many kinds of bicycle races around the world.

Welcome!

This is the new book review blog of Gabe and Reece, sons of Michelle at The True Book Addict and Castle Macabre.  The idea behind this blog was inspired by Krista at Book Review Club, who used to blog one week a month with her kids on her blog until she found that they needed their own blog, Lollipops and Books.  Krista and I agree that kids blogging about books makes them want to read even more.  Gabe and Reece sure were excited when I showed them Lollipops and Books and told them that they could do something similar.  They picked the name, the layout and the header image.  Of course, I will help them with editing of posts, etc., but the reviews will be in their words.  I hope you will join them on their journey in books.

Happy Reading!
Michelle
